Givenchy

Givenchy was founded in Paris in 1952 by Hubert de Givenchy. Audrey Hepburn worn stage costumes signed Givenchy in cult movies such as Sabrina, How to Steal a Million and Breakfast at Tiffany's: her perfect black sheath dress became an everlasting icon of elegance. Since 2005 the Italian designer Riccardo Tisci is the maison’s creative director. Born in Puglia, South Italy, he translates his heritage in style; he elaborates religious leitmotifs, contrasting the sacred and the profane, yet preserving a French haute couture taste. In 2008 he styled super glam stage costumes for Madonna’s “Sticky and Sweet” tour.
